The Paynesville Community Service Center has information about other resources available in our area for people in need. We have applications for many of these programs.

General Information
The United Way provides help in locating services related to education, health services, legal help, transportation, counseling, immigration, childcare, senior services, food housing employment, parenting resources, and much more. Health and Recreation
The Paynesville area offers numerous resources for improving and maintaining health. These include bike and walking trails, the public ice arena, tennis courts, parks, a community garden, and many community education programs. Paynesville Community Education offers a scholarship program to allow all to participate. Medications
Stearns County offers a prescription discount card to receive an average of 22% off prescription medications not covered by insurance. Pick up a card at the Paynesville Community Service Center. Senior Dining
Paynesville Senior Dining delivers meals to seniors' homes and holds programs at the R.O.S.E. center. Call 320-243-4575.

Faith in Action is a volunteer group that accompanies seniors to grocery stores or delivers groceries to their homes. The rural Stearns County group can be reached at 1-800-549-5855.

Food Stamps
You can apply for food stamps by calling 1-888-711-1151 Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Heating and Electricity
The Minnesota Office of Energy Security offers assistance with gas and electric bills. Applications are available at the Paynesville Community Service Center, by calling 1-888-765-5597, or visiting http://www.tricap.org.
